Smile and Enjoy the Adventure started out as an emailed ‘travel log’ from the remotest parts of the Former Soviet Union as those countries were emerging from communism and adjusting to market economies. Accompanying her husband, a mining engineer, Carol candidly describes her experiences in surviving Siberia.
